December 9th-15th 2019 is Computer Science Education Week and so our P6&7 pupils have been busy taking part in the Hour of Code this week. They began using Minecraft within the classroom and were able to work collaboratively (groups of 2/3) and use their digital skills to design and build houses to a range of specifications. There were some very interesting designs created and again it reinforced the great work that can be produced when technology and imagination are combined.
All the P6/7 children thoroughly enjoyed the Hour of Code and are now looking forward to further incorporating Minecraft into their learning activities in the new year.
