Our Girls' Gaelic football team travelled to the Station Centre in Omagh today to compete in a heat of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Thir Eoghain annual 5-a-side Girls’ Indoor Gaelic Football competition for Tyrone primary schools.
Our girls were drawn in the same section as St. Caireall’s P.S. Aghyaran; St. Teresa’s P.S. Loughmacrory, and St. Patrick’s P.S. Eskra. The girls put in some great performances, and really did give their best in all of the games. Although they didn't qualify from the section, the girls really enjoyed their morning, and the opportunity to put into practice the skills they have been learning, both at school sessions and at their Club training.
A word of thanks also to Mrs Sharon Farley who helped with transport of players to the Station Centre.
