The children in our P5 class got a chance to test out their green fingers in school. We were lucky to have a visit from Emma & Reece, Biodiversity Officers at Fermanagh & Omagh District Council. Emma and Reece spoke to the children about pollination, planting different types of bulbs and about all the different types of bumble bees.🐝
They showed the children how to dig up grassy soil and explained the correct way to place the bulbs in the soil to ensure they grow. The children all loved getting the chance to plant their own bulbs and are all very excited to see how the bulbs will bloom in the spring 🌷🌱
