To mark the start of Maths Week Ireland 2025, Mrs McGarvey, our Numeracy Co-ordinator, hosted a fantastic quiz this afternoon for pupils in P5, P6 & P7 classes. The students were split into 9 teams and tackled a wide range of fun and challenging questions covering the entire Mathematics curriculum.
Throughout the hour-long event, all teams demonstrated impressive mathematical knowledge, with scores remaining incredibly close right to the end. The winning team earned well deserved prizes, but every participant could take pride in having made it a tightly contested competition.
A huge thank you to Mrs McGarvey for organising such an enjoyable and enriching activity. Well done to all the pupils who took part-you made the start of Maths Week truly memorable!
