Big Walk/Wheel to School

🚲 This week we were taking part in the SusTrans Big Walk/Wheel to School challenge as part of their campaign to promote active travel. 🚲 🛴 🚶‍♀️

We were delighted with the huge efforts from pupils and parents, to travel actively to and from. We had lots of walkers, cyclists and even scooters!

Thanks also to the huge group of pupils who got dropped at the park each morning this week and walked/cycles/scooted the rest of the journey to school! This has helped greatly with congestion around our school gates, improving air quality as well as allowing pupils to get some exercise before the school day. Well done to everyone who participated this week! 👏🏻
